LECO Corporation will not give or sell the data to any third party for its use in marketing or solicitation programme.
The third party is a joint controller if Leco Corporation and the third party jointly define the purposes and means of processing. The third party is an independent controller if the third party defines the purposes and means of processing separately from us. The controller distinctions can vary depending upon data protection processing purposes and processing activities.
Transfers outside the EEA
LECO Corporation is an international company with locations and activities around the world. We may need to transfer your personal data within our group of companies or to third parties established outside the European Economic Area (EEA).
All international data transfers are subject to applicable data protection legislation. We follow the guidance and directives of those regulations, including the use of adequacy decisions by competent data protection supervisory authorities, SCCs, IDTAs and other contractual measures, and industry accepted technical and organisational measures. We have measures that apply across all processing and ones tailored for distinct personal data processing purposes and processing activities. We will only transfer your personal data if an appropriate level of protection is in place.
Specifically for international data transfers to the USA, we rely on the March 2022 Trans-Atlantic Data Privacy Framework between the EU and USA, after the invalidation of EU-US Privacy Shield.
Practices, Protection and Controls
LECO Corporation follows internal policy and applicable data protection legislation in its data protection compliance programme. Also, we have an information security management system (ISMS) and a personal information management system (PIMS) in place. Those management systems include industry accepted physical, administrative, organisational, and technical measures to maintain security, integrity, and confidentiality.

- pseudonymisation and data encryption at rest, in processing and in transit, when applicable and feasible
- system configuration, including changes to default configurations
- device controls, monitoring, auto management controls
- events logging and monitoring
- data disposition controls
- we do not store personal data for longer than is necessary, according to internal policy or after statutory periods associated with the purpose of the processing.
